Hello to all House District 69 Voters and Friends ! My name is Ted Washburn. I am your Republican Candidate for House District 69 in 2008. This seat will be open as Rep Jack Wells is term limited from running again. Bio

I am a life long Republican, plain spoken, and conservative in nature, and I have been a resident of Gallatin County for the past decade.  My wife Claudia and I live in the Wylie Creek area.  Our daughter Wendy, who serves as my campaign treasurer, lives with her husband Michael and their young family in Manhattan.  Our son James lives in Belgrade. Here’s my background and qualifications for this important office: Graduate of the National FBI academy, police officer for five years; Chief of Law Enforcement for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, regions 3 and 4 for 28 years. Member of school board 3 years, served as chairman for two of those years. Strong supporter of 2nd Amendment rights; avid Montana sportsman and hunter safety instructor for 40 years. Current Precinct 30 Committeeman for Gallatin County Republican Central Committee. Liberty Place board of directors.
